This shear pin kit (part number OEM-738-04124) is for snowblowers.
Shear pin kit OEM-738-04124 connects the auger to the rotating drive shaft. The shear pin is made of soft metal that purposely shears off or breaks to protect the transmission and motor if a foreign object or hard-packed snow binds the auger.
- Includes four 1/4 x 1-1/2 inch shear pins and 4 bow tie cotter pins
- Fits two-stage snowblowers with 3/4 inch auger shafts made 2005 or later
- For MTD, Craftsman, Cub Cadet, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Machines, Yardman, Yardworks and White brand snowblowers

Fit like a charm
The shear pins fit the holes they're supposed to go into. With luck, they'll never need to be used, but I'm glad their broken brothers did the job they were supposed to.
