Replacement Part arrived Defective - Twice!

My 2024 Kenmore dishwasher hose, Part #42312485, had a leak at installation, so I called Sears Parts Direct to replace it. They were helpful and were able to locate the part that I needed with help of the parts diagram. I could not install the dishwasher until the new part arrived, so needless to say, I was excited to see the replacement part arrive about a week later. To my dismay, the accordion style hose had been smashed and had noticeable holes in the crease, so it was useless. I called Sears parts direct again, and they placed another order for me for a free replacement. At the time of order, I told them the that the part had been smashed and that the flexible envelope style packaging could have been the reason it was damaged. They said the replacement part would arrive in another 10 days or so, so I agreed to the replacement. Fast forward to the arrival of the 2nd replacement product and it to arrived noticeably damaged. At this point, I decided I'd wasted too much time and took the hose to Napa, and they provided me with a superior replacement automotive hose. Sad to say, but it's not worth my time to call and ask for a refund, so buyer beware. I can't tell for sure if they shipped it defective or if the poor packaging caused the problem, but for the original hose and 2 replacements to all be defective is not a good sign of quality.
