This thermostat for a residential dryer controls the air temperature in the dryer drum by shutting off the heater when the temperature reaches 125 degrees Fahrenheit. The thermostat switches the heater back on when the temperatures falls to 115 degrees Fahrenheit.
- The thermostat mounts onto the blower wheel. To remove the old part so you can install this replacement cycling thermostat, unplug the dryer and take off the top and front panels of the cabinet. The blower wheel is located in the front left corner of the dryer.
